Cell-Based Therapy Provider ERP Scope Change: Case Study
Enterprise Resource PlanningChallenge
A cell-based therapy provider was in the process of upgrading its ERP from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365. In the process, a recent acquisition prompted executive leadership to expand the scope to also include a non-Microsoft platform.
They needed resources to manage an operations analysis initiative as well as to serve as overall project managers for the effort.
“It was crucial to get the current and future states clearly defined, develop revised requirements, and establish an overall strategy for effectively managing scope.”
The project management effort involved coordinating and collaborating with resources across multiple departments including third-party service providers.
Solution

- Achieved buy-in and promptly eliminated irrelevant considerations
- Completed project in a timely manner and with minimal impact
Osprey Life Sciences met with key principals and developed an overall plan to achieve buy-in. We managed an onsite current state analysis exercise and negotiated findings with stakeholders.
